I’ve been working with wood for over 20 years. Building cabinets, tables, leather and felt-covered custom poker tables, and nearly everything else.
Some time back my interest moved to turning wood, resin, and hybrids on a lathe where my attention to detail and mild OCD are highly valuable traits to create beautiful, high-end, functional works of art.
I have also found myself deep in the trenches of laser engraving. I now use both a diode laser and a CO2 laser nearly every day to make customs pieces become even more personalized. Until I started using my first laser, I had never realized the artist side of engraving.
